Taira Ichikawa
Baobab plantation
The well-known baobabs that appear at “My Little Prince” are also called “the upside-down trees” because they fell from the sky and pierced as they were. If you turn everything upside down and look at it from a different angle, your world might start to laugh and dance. I have tried to make that feeling into the form.
This artwork is not a fixed monument. I continue my journey with the concept of always wandering and searching for my place.
