These artworks are award-winning pieces from the WhiteCanvas art contest, created by children and artists in Sri Lanka. They vividly depict Sri Lanka’s religious beliefs and culture, despite the economic crisis since the spring of 2022. These pieces inspire the younger generation to envision a brighter future, fostering hope and empowerment in challenging times.
White Canvas was launched in Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand in 2020. All these works are owned by the Eastern Cultural Foundation and these works are managed with tags using blockchain technology. For every purchase made by a customer, the artist receives 20% of the profits from the Foundation. When a customer sells a piece, a portion of the profit is given directly to the artist as a “return gift”. Please support young Asian artists by purchasing their works. As a result, your friends in Asia will increase. If we become each other’s fans, we will feel more peaceful and prosperous.
