Fanatical Sham(e)

Description:

All texts are collections of words suspended in mid-air, imitations of emotions and thoughts in our brains. While at times filled with passion, depending on how you look at it, it can be just as embarrassing too. Junichiro Tanizaki, the author who spent summers and winters in this city and wrote “The Makioka Sisters,” a milestone in modern literature, was no exception.
