Beyond ATAMI - An Unprecedented Art Experience Beyond Dimensions
Since March 2021, the PROJECT ATAMI Executive Committee has been dedicated to nurturing two foundational projects: "ATAMI ART RESIDENCE," providing artists a space to create, and "ATAMI ART GRANT," a robust support system for artists.
The "ATAMI ART GRANT" is aimed at supporting artists' creative activities, and in its fourth year, this year's theme is "Beyond ATAMI." Twenty artists have been selected through an open call. Together with the GRANT artists and RESIDENCE artists, a total of 50 groups will create works that will be widely displayed throughout Atami City, with the support of local government, companies, and individuals who resonate with this initiative.
This year's "ATAMI ART GRANT" aims to transcend various concepts, discover new values and meanings for Atami, and break down the barriers between the real and the online, allowing many people to see various places within Atami City like never before.

This project was born with the purpose of uncovering Atami's charm through artistic exploration, making it more visible and allowing everyone to experience and enjoy it. Our goal is to create events that encourage mutual learning and spontaneous discoveries. We also aim to provide visitors with a rich cultural experience that engages all five senses, leaving a lasting impression.
