Claire Fujita

Title:

Whispers of movement -my beacon in the dark-

Description:

The artwork explores the conversion and collision of energy. The wind turbine is equipped with a solar-powered propeller; when the sun shines, the propeller is activated, causing the wind turbine to rotate in the opposite direction. Conversely, when the sun is obscured, the wind rotates the turbine in the forward direction, accumulating a small amount of energy in the process. This stored energy powers the “artificial sun,” making it shine. Moreover, when both the sun is out and the wind is blowing, the wind turbine is influenced by either force, causing it to either rotate or stop.
