Title:

Curtain Call

Description:

The curtain call does not beg for a song or other additional performance, but simply demands an appearance. Rather than something beginning with an ovation, we considered the ending scene after the ending to be pregnant with hilarity. The actors, who act as if they are the ‘performers’ of the stage, repeat the act that marks the end of the act (curtain call), and this is a video work. Originally, a play was written and performed, and the audience would unintentionally make a curtain call. However, the people who appear to be “performers” in the video skip the flow of the story until the curtain call occurs, and appear on stage with fresh faces to continue answering the curtain call.
