GROUP

GROUP is architectural collective made of members Gaku Inoue, Takahiro Omura, Naoki Saito, Kumiko Natsuda, and Ken Akatsuka. Positioning architectural projects as places for people with different specialties to temporarily and continuously collaborate, GROUP develops activities that focus on the interrelationships of architecture, art, politics, labor, and urban history. Past work include design and construction “Shinjuku White House Garden” (Tokyo, 2021), design and operation “Ebina Art Expressway” (Kanagawa, 2021), planning and editing “Notes First Garden” (NOTESEDITION, 2021), design and construction “Water Roof” (outdoor art exhibition “Nokemono” venue configuration), solo exhibition “Repair” (WHITEHOUSE, 2021), amongst others.
