Kotaro Hosono

Born in 1986. Born in Nakano Ward, Tokyo.
Kotaro Hosono is the director of the art space “HAITSU”. In 2013, he launched ANAGRA, a space where art, fashion, and music intersect, and was in charge of its planning and management until 2016.
Since then, he has been working on various projects with the goal of creating exhibitions and viewing experiences that serve as verbs for conveying the artist’s perspective to viewers, regardless of country or age. Centering on the planning of exhibitions, his activities also range from producing publications, zines, apparel, art spaces, and events.
Currently, he continues his own lifework, at HAITSU, using a room in an apartment in Nishiogikubo, Tokyo, where he holds monthly exhibitions with his artists.
