Takayuki Mori
Born in 1983 in Okayama Prefecture. Lives in Yokohama City.
Takayuki Mori is an artist who graduated in 2006 from Kyoto University of Art and Design (currently Kyoto University of Arts), Department of Fine Arts, specializing in sculpture.
He creates sculptures and installation works using light and translucent materials in order to replace visual images, which are intangible and uncertain, with objects in three-dimensional space.
Major exhibitions include DLECTRICITY 2021 (Wayne State University, Detroit, USA, 2021), LUMINE meets ART AWARD 2020-2021 (NEWoMan Shinjuku, Tokyo, 2021), Smart Illumination Yokohama 2018 (Elephant Park, Kanagawa, 2018). , Roppongi Art Night 2018 (Roppongi Tenso Shrine, Tokyo, 2018). He won the 23rd Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Award Exhibition Special Award (2020).
