Ryo Uchida

Born in 2015 in Shizuoka prefecture, Japan. Ryo Uchida is an artist who graduated from Musashino Art University’s Oil Painting Department. His main painting practice consists of shapes constructed from dripping and paint bleeding. While incorporating uncertainties such as coincidence and otherness, he aims to dismantle and reconstruct images that reside in forms. Since 2018, he works out of a studio based in Tsutsujigaoka Atelier on the outskirts of Tokyo.
